 Immediate Life Support Training

These courses are designed to meet the requirements of ILS Courses laid down by UK Resuscitation Council guidelines. These CPD courses meet the criteria for the General Dental Council’s Development Outcomes C and also includes Medical Emergencies as set out by the GDC in dental practice.

Sunday 23 March 2025 – Stoke on Trent (£1̶30 £120) – Same Day Certificate

This training is only available to those who are based in the UK.

These courses fulfil the criteria set out by the General Dental Council assessment under “Recognise and manage medical emergencies”.

BLS vs ILS

BLS incorporates Basic CPR Skills and use of and AED for Dental Professionals.

Whereas ILS is more advanced care and includes CPR, Choking, AED, ABCDE Approach, Airway management, Suction, Medical Emergencies, Oxygen Therapy and Vital Signs. This has course has become mandatory for dental registration.
